I love hearing success stories from photographers who’ve attended one of my workshops and have implemented the tools that I share. I put a lot into my material and presentations so that people can get the most from their investment whether the workshop is for a full day or a full week.
Perhaps you’re debating coming to an event. Perhaps you’re wondering if you’ll learn enough. I can promise you that no matter what your level, you will learn more than you think. There’s a saying that we don’t know what we don’t know. I relate it to climbing the only mountain in view, thinking the peak must be the highest place we can stand, but when we get there we see even more and larger mountains behind it.
For the week-long workshops, those events are limited to smaller groups for more hands-on and on-on-one attention. Before those events I send out a short questionnaire to the attendees to find out the skill level of each photographer. Most respond saying that they are already very competent in each area. Yet afterwards they are amazing and blown away with how much they’ve grown and learned. They are now better and faster, and have the tools to do bigger and better things, and this is consistently true both seasoned photographers as well as newer photographers!
You can learn some things on your own, but at some point there is nothing like getting real in-person training. There is no comparison to the speed that you can grow in one of my workshops.
Here are some of the unsolicited emails and testimonials that I’ve received from photographers. This first one is my recent favorite.

Bry, Teacher, mentor,
I would have said all this in person but I get extremely emotional and tried my best to act like I could keep it together,
You have changed my life. I will now be looking at the world differently. I tried to write down as much as I could of your comments not just about photography but everything (the world, how people view things and live their life).
The amount of information was overwhelming, but in a great way. I will be working on one thing at a time starting with the typing up of my written notes. Your upbeat way of explaining how to do things without the bogging down with technical info allowed me to actually have a vision of what we were trying to achieve (which for me is earth shattering). I won’t go into each thing but simply wanted to express my appreciation for you and the thankfulness of having chosen the right class and the right instructor. When I think about waking last August from a coma and not knowing who my wife was and not being able to move my arms or legs or even to be able to feed myself, I am already grateful for every single day and now I have a look towards the future that is extremely hopeful.
The small amount of experience I had before was simply youth sports… Bry I will end this long thank you note and ask if you ever do one-on-ones even for a half day, I would gladly hop in the car and drive to Utah for the experience, and only after at least 6 months of putting into practice what you shared with us this week.
Sincerely a big fan

Bry,
Janice and I had an early flight out of Dallas last Friday and didn’t get to properly say “goodbye”. We also want to thank you for all of the effort that you put into your class in order to make it a great learning experience. We have set aside Saturday to practice some of the things that we learned last week.
Wishing you all the best,
– Carroll

Just wanted you to know that I’ve read your books and have implemented as much as I can from what your class was about and I’ve made more $$ this quarter than I have the whole year!!!! I seriously cannot believe it. And I seriously would not have done this well if it weren’t for you! 🙂

Hello Bry,
I just wanted to give you a much deserved feedback for your class. Basically you rock! I loved every minute of your workshop, your expertise and humbleness, your hilarious quotes and your amazing energy.
I think it was well thought out, interesting, informative, and super fun. I had such a fantastic week, I am so glad I picked you. I met new friends and came out of it totally inspired and full of new ideas…I hope we can stay in touch 🙂
Keep up the good work and I truly hope to see you sometimes again!!!
PS: Loving all the videos too, thank you.
Your new fan 🙂

OMG Bry… since I got back I have been watching your videos and practicing the techniques you taught us. I thickened my skin and pushed my new images to the masses (many of which are much more skilled than myself). I got a lot of amazing feedback.
Yes, I still have a long ways to go, but WOW in only a week, I have come so far. So much of that is thanks to you and your awesome instruction. I can’t thank you enough.
You were seriously such a good choice for me. I appreciate every minute you gave us. I noticed that you gave much more than was required. I saw you stay late, work through lunch most days. You are wonderful and very much appreciated. I just thought you should know.
I hope I can take all that you offered and make you proud.

Bry,
I just wanted to thank you for your program in Texas, I learned a great deal about how to create more consistency and efficiency in my work, and not get high-centered in post production. One gets in a rut because that the way it’s always been done, and it was refreshing to see another way doing things and to experience an efficient workflow from capture to finished product. It was awesome getting to know you better and hopefully we’ll see you again soon.

Hi Bry,
I had an awesome time in your class. I felt like it really targeted everything I have been struggling with. I am still super excited and am working diligently to accomplish all the goals I have set for myself and my photography.
I wanted to thank you for your generosity in sharing your content with us. I will do my best to take full advantage of it.
Again, thank you for everything.

Thanks again, Bry. You have already made such a wonderful change in my processes. I have already put to use some of the awesome things you taught us. I am so glad I chose your class and look forward to attending another of your workshops in the future.
Stay in touch!

Hey Bry!
Just wanted to reach out and say how much I really enjoyed having you as an instructor. I thought you delivered your message in a really straightforward, honest, and funny way. You did a great job providing constructive feedback and keeping us all on track in a way that was very easy to hear.
I also thought some of your simple references to your personal spirituality added a great touch to the workshop. All in all, you are a class act and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the week learning from you. Thanks again for everything and hopefully we’ll cross paths again sometime in the future.

“Thank you Bry, for all you’ve done. You brought us a lot of energy and success that we wouldn’t have had without you. All of your students have been so on fire. You were just what we needed. You have some big fans here! Thanks!”

“Bry, I wanted to say thank you. Earlier this year you knocked me out of my comfort zone. Since then I have had so much more work. My plan is to keep out of that rut of my comfort zone and keep moving forward. I no longer feel guilty when someone spends money with me.
At this time, by best advertisement is my clients. They are referring more and more work for me. I am loving every minute of it.
Again, Thank you!!”

Hey Bry,
What an amazing week we had – it was a life changing experience with you. I have been to that 12 times and you are the most knowledgeable, giving, creative and inspiring, fun and entertaining, warm and positive, instructor I have ever had the pleasure of learning from . . . thank you sooo much!
Warm Regards.”

What a week! Bry you were such a pleasure to learn from, very knowledgeable, funny, creative and informative. You kept us going at a great pace and never slowed down for a minute. I am playing with painting right now, so fun! Would love to see the paintings of the girls with the umbrellas you did. Oh my Heck they were awesome.
––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––
You really were a little bit country and a little bit rock n roll! Simply awesome – thank you!

Bry, I loved the class. Since I left it’s been, “well Bry said this…”
I showed my wife the shootist and spy videos and we laughed our butts off (again). Now to re-invent the business.
Thanks again for all that you shared with us this week! I cant wait to see how I use it all!!! You’re a genius!
